Amazingly fast close

Well, sometimes we even surprise ourselves.  I've strived for the past 30 years to meet commitments I've made and not let a client down or leave them hanging.  Sometimes my wife thinks I'm a pest, I like to think I'm tenacious.  If a broker, bank or borrower calls with a lead, I push, pull and do what ever it takes to get the deal closed.  In most cases it pays off.  I got a call in May from an attorney, the borrower had been injured and fallen behind with B of A.  His wife left him and he fell farther behind.  He'd been trying to refi but was turned down multiple times, each time for a different reason, most were borderline.  Bank of America had committed several violations with their foreclosure process and had agreed to short their demand by $300k rather than go to trial.  Since May, I've been calling or emailing the attorney every week checking progress.  Well, it finally paid off, we closed it last week.  The house appraised at $2.2 million, he's recovered and with the economic turn-around making more than ever.  His credit is still in the high 500's though.  We closed a $1.3 million first for him, he got the $300k credit on his payoff and now has a new lease on life.  Lesson learned, sometimes being a pest pays off.  Have a great weekend, if you're having trouble with your normal lender or have a problem loan please give me a call.
