An amazing year, and to our winner Isaac

For many of us this is the start of a new financial year, I reflect back on how incredible the team I work with every day is. The talent, tenacity and drive are next level. It's about the next generation of leader like Isaac Morunga who really inspire me.

So many people who have helped me during my career to name here, however it's the incredible talent I work with, like Issac that keep me driving on our mission every day.

I get asked how I got there? I am not sure where getting there is, however, here are my top 10 list of things:

1 Life is hard, get used to it.

2. Not everyone will like you, and that is ok.

3, Turn the inner voice down, would you talk to a 5-year-old the way you talk to yourself.

4. Put better and more skilled people around you, in leadership roles.

5. The number one thing in life is not having more time, it is having more energy.

6. There are two people in life, radiators and drainers, be around radiators.

7. Be authentic, people can see when you are fake.

8. Be a storyteller, talk about the things you found hard to help others.

9. Be the hand up not the handout.

10. Give back, especially when no one else is watching.

I am off for a two-week break with my family, I will be missing our Microsoft Start session in Seattle however decided to prioritize family, life is full of scarifies, make the decisions that best fit you. In the end its your life and decisions that count.
