Amazing User Experience Project

When trying to find an interesting user experience design project, there were a ton of amazing ones that really caught my eye. But the one project that did the most is called “Uber Perfecting the Pickup” by Simon Pan who is a Product Designer in San Francisco. The user experience problem for this project was how at the start of 2016 there became a slew of problems with the some of Uber’s features that were very complicated to navigate through. Simon was apart of a team that was going to redesign the app that would fix the problems for the complicated features and make it as easy as possible for users to confidently use the Uber app. One of the things that really stands out to me in his project is the overall layout. It is very clean and precise and he tells the problem through a story which makes it much easier to understand what he was trying to fix. He goes through the Uber app step by step to show each problem it had and then shows the solution by recreating the entire app and shows the viewers through a simulation that he did to redesign it. He shows exactly what feature he fixed and how explained how it was going to make the user experience aspect much more smooth to get through. In the end Simon has so much detail in his project and he includes every little thing he did to come up with the best solution for his user experience problem. https://simonpan.com/work/uber/
