My dear friend chaos - by Nanna Susi

An amazing ride about to begin ...

If I look a little flabbergasted it is for a reason. Nanna Susi 's amazing painting arrived on May 1st and is now hanging on our wall with a lot of drama that only confirms it name. Ever since P?ivi Toivio-Elvang shared a common passion of opera with Dave Snowden chaos has been on the radar too.

It is said you cannot control chaos, but this beauty is now hanging on our wall - surprisingly and only thanks to our new friends at Holger Danske Flytteforretning who heroically helped elevate from the ground floor to our flat on the 5th when we were only left with hopeless options.

Thank you Anders, Bo and Rasmus ??

In my post-Accenture era it has been thrilling to see how the interest in Collaborative Lean Portfolio Management and the role it plays in open strategy from a complex perspective is picking up.

With my new won freedom and while looking for the next job P?ivi Toivio-Elvang and I have been planning a busy early summer.

And then comes summer!

I'm intrigued to see how Collaborative Lean Portfolio Management is picking up as a bridge to a more open, collaborative and adaptable organization. The kind of organization that will thrive in the upcoming era of digital work!

Had some great conversations with Steve Davis , Christian Kelly , Richard James , Alexis Williams , and Rick Cobb about this recently.

It will be HUGE!

As the non-physical part of the journey there is plenty of room for on-line coffee sessions. Very interested in feedback on or experiences with 'Open Strategy for a Complex Time' (link below).

Check out the latest condensed version of 'Open Strategy for a Complex Time' by downloading our pdf.

If you catch me on the amazing ride, coffee is on me. Can always squeeze in an online session. Happy to connect!

Good conversations around 'Open Strategy for a Complex Time'. No doubt it hits a nail. And many seem to be onto the same thing. Also some fatherly advice to not contrast too much to the 'Cascading' approach. All modern strategy frameworks accepts emergence as one put it. Another suggested a false dichotomy between cascading and emerging. Which is a fair point. Need to work on the logic. You can always find the latest version here: www.tinyurl.com/OS4ACT

Thoralf J. Klatt ???? On the evening of May 21st - any chance to set up a session in Berlin? I would love to debate with you about #HEXI, #UNFIX, #TeamTopologies etc - when you your 'thing' - how do you know it is 'fit for purpose'? Most of the kits for DIY organizational configurations come without an explicit 'fitness' function. (Briefly discussed recently with both Hexi and TeamTopologies. Shared as a comment with Unfix) What do you think? Something physical, as I know you like ??. Other suggestions welcome.
