It is your time
?Greetings to you my leader. It is a brand new day and week. I am so excited to be alive and blessed to be enjoying this day. I trust you are thriving in spirit soul and body. I see you rising to conquer. It’s about time to get to the next level. The next level is calling you. Are you ready to step into your season of greatness? The season is here, why don’t you jump in?
The Best Leader in Focus
My heart breathes leadership, my mind broods over leadership. This past week I could not stop thinking about the greatest leader ever, Jesus Christ. He never went to a Teachers' Training College but they called him Rabbi. He was not a medical doctor but they called him the Great Physician. He was not a member of the royal family yet he was addressed as a Lord. He had no degree but he outranked professors of the law in legal interpretations and strategic forecasting. He never worked as a brewer but he produced the finest wine at a wedding. Leaders should love knowledge and seek answers. The more l searched about him the more prayer glared at me. He was always a man of prayer and action.
Prayer was his focus
Jesus Christ was a man of prayer for all seasons. He prayed for his disciples and all the Christians before he went to the cross in that unforgettable greatest intercessory prayer of all time. He prayed in the Upper Room with broken-hearted disciples, he prayed in Gethsemane, before the crucifixion. His sweat resembled blood. He prayed before multiplying food for the multitude. Even at his worst, he prayed on the cross and even said it is finished. Even when he rose from the dead, he ascended to heaven and sat on the right hand of the father where he forever prays for the church to be victorious. He defined his success through consistently sustained bouts of prayer.
Prayer produces success
In one of his most profound teachings, Christ taught that man ought to pray always without fainting. He also said when you pray, he did not say if you pray. This clearly shows that in his DNA, prayer is a non-negotiable aspect. The word when indicates consistency and permanency but the word if connotes subjectivity and options. The former is binding and non-negotiable. That makes it clear that success will come your way if you are a praying leader. I am referring to Godly success which adds no sorrow to your life. Never neglect the power of prevailing prayer since it is the power that unleashes the Omnipotence of God’s hand in your life. That hand guarantees the wisdom necessary to unlock victory in life. If you are to succeed as a leader never neglect the power of prayer. Liberty comes from the altar of prayer. The good thing about prayer is that anyone with a mouth can pray. Prayer soothes your soul and calms the heart. Learn to withdraw from the crowd and be in prayer solitude. A quiet solitary place will help build the fortitude needed in daily leadership battles.
I strongly believe that the reason why as people of color we seem to struggle a lot on many fronts is our lack of creative thinking. We do not consider thinking an important aspect of life. We tend to relegate all things to the metaphysical world. We border a lot of our things on the boundaries of superstition. This is why even if a nonagenarian dies we go to the Sangoma and consult so that we establish the cause of the demise. We ought to get to a point where we are thinking with a sound mind. This is why it is still important that we pray but we also apply our minds to issues. The combination of prayer with thinking is very powerful. The combo is awesome in its accomplishments, Jesus taught powerfully about it. He demonstrated his thinking acumen when he organized people into groups before multiplying the bread and fish. If he had not done that a major stampede would have occurred. So t is imperative for leaders to pray and plan.
Success leaves footprints
Remember the master leader used the above formula to build a highly powerful organization known as the church, so stop inventing the wheel. It is already there. Imitate the leadership approach of Christ that is why he modeled it for you. Prayer will develop in you an unshakable faith whose results cannot be denied. It will turn you into an unstoppable tsunami that will accomplish what many consider impossible. But never neglect the thinking aspect so that you optimize on the bottom line outcomes. Let us imitate leadership models which work folks.

Allow me to share some useful thoughts, which you may love to consider deeply applying to your situation:
1. The happiest people think the most inspirational thoughts. Think positively and create an aura of happiness.
2. Happiness is not a physical state but a positive mindset. You too can choose to be happy my leader.
3. Learn to use your leisure time as an opportunity for mental development, you can never get to where you never imagined.
4. If you desire change, love good books and read them. You become what you read. Read more and become more. Knowledge is a reservoir of power.
5. Make a choice to be happy, nobody is obligated to inspire you. Even those who frustrate you forget about it, so go ahead and be happy.
6. Before you sleep plan your day and week. Every ten minutes spent in planning will translate to an hour of execution.
7. Promise to create a personal philosophy of positive living, you owe it to yourself and your future generations
8. Choose happiness over stress and distraction Stress will get you old before your time.
9. Pay attention to every detail, success and failure lies in the finer details of things.
