The amazing experience of using Chat GPT-3 (English Version)

The experience of using the new artificial intelligence tool Chat GPT-3 reminded me of my childhood: in 1994, a neighbor had a computer with the first digital encyclopedia "Encarta". He invited me to explore it, and it was impressive. You just had to search for a specific topic, and the encyclopedia would show relevant information about the subject with photos, audios, and videos. My interest focused on airplanes, and there I learned about the Wright brothers, the pioneers of aviation. Afterwards, the encyclopedia visually displayed engines and other relevant elements of aviation. It was an impressive journey that opened up my imagination at a young age. Something similar is happening to me with Chat GPT-3 from Open AI and Microsoft's Bing.

Probably, Chat GPT-3 will have a greater impact on capabilities and scope than that version of Encarta I spoke about. Using this tool has opened up a universe of possibilities that drive my creativity. It is important to mention that artificial intelligence has been with us for several years, algorithms that recommend a movie on Netflix, a song on Spotify, or an advertisement on Facebook based on a previously consulted topic are part of the use of this tool. In recent weeks, Chat GPT-3 has become my personal assistant. I inquire about basic topics such as building a budget, business ideas, a culinary recipe, or writing a letter of recommendation. However, the tool has more sophisticated capabilities, such as creating algorithms for a specific task.

The chatbot is designed to respond with text and natural language similar to that of a human being. This personal assistant can answer questions or even write texts using documents, webpages, among others sources. The responses are achieved using deep learning and machine learning tools. Last week, Chat GPT-4 was launched and I’ve read that it is even more precise and advanced than the current version.

There are several companies in this race to attract users, Microsoft and Google being two of them. I confess that I am already enjoying the Chatbot GPT-3 created by a Californian company named Open AI. This tool will definitely be essential for the business world, and those who adopt it early will have great rewards in the short term.

I read that some companies have banned the use of the tool, which I find inconvenient. I believe that policies and practices should be implemented to adapt this technology to repetitive tasks, with the sole purpose of allowing employees to use their time on higher value activities.

Within personal routines and in the business world, I propose to start with some experiments in the adoption of this new tool:

1.??????Create a budget for a dinner with the sales team.

2.??????Build a personalized nutritional plan according to weight, including an exercise routine.

3.??????Develop digital marketing activities, such as building an algorithm that helps to automatically send an email to people who like your post on social media.

4.??????Create examples of customized letters to customers with purchase information or technical reports, without the need for human intervention.

5.??????Create ideas about the agenda with the sales team, to later build an action plan and a summary of the meeting.

6.??????Build financial reports with easy-to-understand tables and graphics for the organization's board of directors.

7.??????Look for information on market trends and competitor activities.

The list is never-ending, and the activities can be as basic or sophisticated as desired. The important thing is to use this technology and learn about it, becoming an early adopter and taking advantage of it to the fullest. It is a tool that is in an initial stage of construction, and we still do not know where its applicability will end. It has also raised many questions regarding copyright and the accuracy of information. However, it is a snowball, and its future will depend on how individuals and organizations make better use of this tool, so my invitation is to use chatbots in an ethical and responsible manner.
