Amateur or professional?

This is the time of year when I become both an amateur and a professional fundraiser at the same time.

Amateur: I am personally taking part in For Fitness Sake for the third consecutive year to raise funds for children with a disability. Please do donate, and please do so now while you remember!

Professional: I'm trying to inspire others to either; take part themselves and ask the people they know to donate to their activity; or support someone they know with a generous donation; or to share this message (is it really an 'Article' as LinkedIn suggests?!) with others; or to smile at my amateur approach (see above) and at least think more fondly of those who are raising funds in this annual House with No Steps fundraiser.

Thanks for your time and, hopefully, your support in one of the above actions - kids like Artie (pictured above) deserve it.
