August is Awareness at AmaliTech

August is Awareness Month at AmaliTech, and we have a series of exciting initiatives lined up across our locations. These initiatives are focused on enhancing awareness across four key areas: Mental Health, Financial Literacy, Physical Wellness, and Career Development.

Each of these pillars is crucial for personal and professional growth, and we’re hosting activities and workshops across our locations to support our team members. Stay tuned for more details and ways you can get involved!

Our Team in Rwanda participated in the Rwanda GBS Summit

Our colleagues in Rwanda recently participated in the Rwanda Global Business Summit held in Germany. This international event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss the future of global business. We are proud to have had the opportunity to showcase our work and network with key stakeholders in the industry.

We were also delighted to host two of our Software Developers, Aristote Katy and Ben Sekyondwa , and our IT Operations and Security Analyst, Ukeye Mireille at our office in Cologne.

Women Going Digital

We committed to training young women on various topics in digitalization, robotics, artificial intelligence, data privacy and security, and many more, under the Women Going Digital Programme implemented by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) . Together with inngen , and eSAL (eServices Africa Ltd.) , we committed to supporting the programme through mentorship and placement offerings.

This project climaxed with a dynamic networking event in July, where ladies got the opportunity to network with mentors, industry players and other aspiring young women in tech.

At the event, we shared invaluable insights on the benefits and importance of programmes like the Women Going Digital Initiative, highlighting how mentorship can transform lives and careers. We also spoke passionately about the opportunities we are providing the young women (participants of the Women Going Digital Programme) at AmaliTech.
