Am I one of those purposeful leaders who are determined, choose the right battles and empower their teams?

4 年Love this, Jorj! So hard to get the right balance between "choosing the right battles" and "empowering their teams..." I find that leaders often need to be on a "campaign" (choosing the right battles) but forsake building a team around living that dream.... Or they empower their teams to move in lots of different idiosyncratic directions ("Good idea, so-and-so, go for it! I support you!"). It's helpful to think about the powerful position of choosing the right battle, building teams to share the vision, and then empowering teams to live it! Great reflections here...
