"Am I a rebel with a cause?"
I have always #wanted to make a difference, especially within the Recruitment sector, using my experience as a recruiter & applicant as a yardstick...hence the headline.
In pursuit of this, I have asked applicants, friends & colleagues what they consider to be missing in the process.
The short answer: They #need to feel as that they matter, whether successful or not. The #HUMAN in HR is a tad diluted. Applicants #need to know where they stand. Silence / Ghosting is an automatic assumption and association of a decline, which is "accepted as norm"
What about letting a candidate know #WHY they were not considered further? What can an applicant do to improve their HIRE status?
I will Be #supportive, provide #feedback and give #insights ...knowing that I have assisted or been instrumental in helping someone and that is something I place above "Resources minus the Human aspect". #BE #HUMAN - it looks beautiful on everyone.
