It is my honor to introduce Golestan Foundation to you. Golestan is a newly established nonprofit organization to help orphans and support orphanages and single-mother families.
In the first step, Golestan signed an MOU with an orphanage in Ahwaz called Javadalaimeh to support more than 60 children who are living in their facilities and 950 children who are living with some of their relatives (grandparents, uncles, etc.), all of whom live in the slums of Ahwaz.
OFAC's General License E allows:
" Activities related to humanitarian projects to meet basic human needs in Iran, including, but not limited to, the provision of donated health-related services; operation of orphanages; "
For the month of Ramadan, Golestan pledged to provide 1,000 food baskets for orphanages and families in need. Each basket is priced at $40 and contains food items that give almost all essential food items needed by a small family for a month.
I am asking you to support Golestan by donating to one or more of these food packages for the month of Ramadan. All of your donations are tax-deductible, and collected donations would be sent to Ahvaz utilizing OFAC license from the U.S. Department of Treasury.
The U.S. Sanction is biting hard all Iranians, and among them, orphans and orphanages are suffering even more. Please donate generously here and help children who have no one to support them.
Thank you
PS. Golestan Foundation is fully volunteer based with no overhead. Other expenses are paid by the Board which means 100% of your donation would be sent to orphans.
PPS. Please share with others, and inform your friends and family..
