AM I Alone ?!

AM I Alone ?!......AM I Alone ?.....AM I ......Alone........

With over 28,000, mostly friends, on LinkedIn, I receive , typically 15-20 emails, a day. An occasional endorsement, a comment on a dumb post I conjured up, a request from a number of Groups, I try to participate, somehow, appear, daily. Often, a request for employment or guidance, in finding a New Job, opportunity, Adventure or career change, causes me to pause. I look at the individual's home page, recognize or search my memory, in remembering, or remain enigmatically considering how I know this person. I stop, to reflect, how I may be able to assist, in her/his search.  

After, reading, observing, discussing and most importantly: LISTENING to over a hundred people comment on the subject of the 1200 pound Gorilla, in the middle of The Crowd.......Alone..... I am quite comfortable summarizing My OWN conclusions : ....YES !......You are Most Definitely........Alone.

Now, here are the Mostly Patronizing Solutions----Read, Observed and Discussed:

----For a Nominal Fee from $40 - $4000.... WE Have the ANSWER to your "Problem"

----If YOU weren't SO OLD, your experience, education, talent and Resume---Would provide YOU with far more than WE Could DO, by putting Lipstick and Perfume on it...

---- There truly is NO Recruiting Service or Business devoted to traditional "Headhunting", Employment Search or JOB FINDING for Senior Management Technical and Business Experts....(A business with REAL Business Roles where employers pay a fee for finding someone like YOU----no charges, to YOU)

There are however Thou$$$ands of  New and Improved RESUME Writers, Internet Posting Services, Website Creators and plain everyday Charlatans who have the practiced skills of a finely honed talented Sunday morning---pay per view---Preacher, Neighborhood Loan Shark, Charitable Manager who keeps 90 cents of every $$$dollar for salaries, cars, planes and vacation planning meetings....with Members of Congress.

But, what does this Do for YOU ?! Not much. In a word---NOTHING !....but The Cost of knowing this...Recognition...which has become intuitively obvious to The Casual Observer...is quite a $$$avings....providing final confirmation.

So, Your Solution, is found within The SEARCH for the Answer....STOP being OLD ! Ignore the Patronizing HELP (?)--- for FREE ! Focus upon what YOU want to do next, REALLY ! Enjoy the TIME to consider: What Do You and Your Partner WANT To Do Now, Next... and Do what brought YOU to this Crossroads...So, YOU GOT OLD....Has Anyone EVER helped you build Your Career, as you waited to be served, for an item selected, from their Menu ?!  Why would YOU expect such an INSANE Solution, Now ?! You are You because, You, (from my perspective by The Grace of God and possibly a supporting partner) made choices which brought you here---Right Now. You can blame anyone or anything---Laws about Age Discrimination which are deftly managed, Human Resource Recruiters who intentionally play down your strengths while focusing upon missing "requirements",  Another Resume ReWrite, Answering a single Interview Question callously, Gender or Race affliction or possibly a slip in Political opinion---but, are YOU not the One who truly supports opportunity, for ALL, and haven't YOU stated, throughout YOUR Career, the absolute necessity, for inclusion, as consideration, in Qualification ?! If so, then does not the word-- Hypocrite-- ring in the distant chiming of your own voice ?.....
