Alzheimer's Disease (AD):?Let us not blame our genes (Ancestors). Naresh Chand, Ph.D., Courtesy of ADRxSynergy?
Over 300 years, our genes did not change. Nigerians have more ApoE ε4 gene, more amyloids, and no Alzheimer's disease (AD, 7,8).
However, our lifestyle has drastically changed over the past 75 years. HFCS and artificial sweeteners (5) and ultra-processed foods- food addiction (9), dehydration (4), depression, and constipation/dysbiosis (8) are major under-appreciated causes of AD and comorbidities.?
Over the past 30 years, we have invested >60 billion dollars in targeting amyloid in the USA! Single target medications (FDA-approved six medications) would make little or no difference in curing AD. These medications would not improve the quality of life for most high-risk people until people are willing to make lifestyle changes including optimizing body hydration and Gut-microbiota nutrition and growth.
Lifestyle transformation has worked for me for >22 years in preventing, halting, and reversing the slow procession of Alzheimering.
These seven secret stars of transforming brain and body would help most people including those living with MCI or AD.???
1.???Optimal body hydration- Sipping or Drinking an adequate amount of water over 16 h every day.
2.???Eating plant-based foods (vegetables, fruits, beans, whole/ancient grains) or swallowing Mega Pill (Ayurvedic cooking (1)
3.???Delaying the timing of brunch (breakfast)- intermittent fasting (5)
4.???Optimize breathing (3)
5.???Yogic (Life IN Yoga practices) or on any physical activity preferably under the fasting state
6.???Optimize sleep: dancing or meditation, chanting or singing or stretching, and yawning before bedtime (Dr. Neal Barnard)
7.???Remain connected with family, friends, pets, and plants (10)
Note: Find out your risk factors, comorbidities and habits, and symptoms sooner than later and reduce the risks ASAP. ?You can do it!
These practical and safe preventive or disease-modifying/reversing approaches are the most challenging to prescribe. The American healthcare industry (Big pharma, big non-profits, and beyond) does not believe in prevention (Watch What the Health documentary). Most people with 3-5 major risk factors are unable or unwilling to adopt any preventive lifestyle approaches until they are FACE heart attack, stroke, MCI, AD, etc.?
The genetic predisposition/family history or?AD diagnosis is not your destiny.?In most cases, a plant-based diet?(nutrition, lifestyle), drinking?more water, and moving more?would reverse MCI/AD and comorbidities. I changed my lifestyle and did it for >22 years after?being diagnosed with AD in early 2000?(I call it?awakening from the AD).
You can do it (reverse AD at early stages) it. I can help!?
Look at what you are eating and drinking and examine the consistency of your stool and the color of your urine. You are probably?dehydrated and constipated, which primarily causes memory lapses leading to Alzheimering.?
Most seniors can engage in mild?stretching?of muscles and joints (sitting yoga Life in Yoga practices) and breathing exercises (Bhastrika) and meditating techniques or listening to vibration mantra (OM resonance; healing sound) to improve sleep (7)- all seniors and young people would benefit from it. Younger people can do more intense strength training and cardio interval exercises.?
As a caring and great nation, the Healthcare industry needs to address – the impact of the Western lifestyle (excess caloric consumption, dehydration, dysbiosis, constipation, ultra-processed foods, soda, wine, beer, alcohol, artificial sweeteners, layoffs, sedentary living, and other factors) in promoting the dysbiosis and pathogenesis of all chronic diseases of the brain (including Alzheimering, vascular dementia, joints) and body.?

Roots (such as Yam), beans, rice (whole grains), locally grown vegetables, herbs and spices, and often fresh local foods may be partly responsible for the lower prevalence of AD and other diseases in Nigeria and even Asia, India, etc.?
1. Mega Pill?https://youtu.be/WqwLRJ123iY?helped me recover from Alzheimer's and depression (2000). It contains:?Prebiotics- plant-based mild laxative foods rich in water, fiber, and many complex phytochemicals to improve gut-microbiota nutrition and growth.?
These complex phytonutrients and their metabolites IN ULTRA LOW DOSES act synergistically?at multiple sites?in the brain and body.?
They?modulate?dysregulated chronic persistent immune inflammation and restore Homeostasis in the brain and body in early disease states.??

However, people who recover from loneliness, appear to be less likely to suffer from dementia, compared to people who have never felt lonely.

So be a wise consumer! Help and educate your poor and less privileged family and friends or neighbors. The survivors of heart attack and stroke are at very high risk of Alzheimer's!
