It's crazy to think that roughly two years ago we did our first free class. Fast forward to now and AlwaysHired is the #1 Sales Bootcamp in the world. After raising $ from the top VCs in our space; University Ventures, Fresco Capital, Kapor Captital, we decided to shift our focus to a blended model. We are now launching an online/offline solution offering both an in-person bootcamp and training courses online.

Can you believe it? Gabriel Moncayo CEO of a Venture Backed SaaS startup. I still don't believe it --- I still don't think my mom does as she still says "don't you want to be a lawyer or a doctor". No mom, I don't - but I still love you :)

Anyways, Isaac Martin is now our CTO and he brings previous CTO experience + has a Masters in linguistics.

Recently, Isaac shared his thoughts on why he joined and what we are building.

"I'm very excited to say that I am currently the Chief Technical Officer at AlwaysHired.

While pursuing my masters degree in linguistics, and while working in natural language processing at Optum, I was interested in spotting meaningful patterns in large data sets. At Optum I worked to teach computers how to read and understand medical documents for billing purposes. I learned quite a bit about how to find meaning in the numbers and data patterns. I also learned about automating processes which are usually done manually.

Those interests drove me to join the mission of AlwaysHired. We aren't working on medical documents here. Rather, we are streamlining every stage of the process of finding a job. From training, to searching, to placement... we're changing how people find their role in sales and kickoff their career.

In my time with AlwaysHired, it has become glaringly apparent that the skills gap is real. Right now more than ever, people need jobs and companies need people. We've identified patterns related to both training and placement which predict the quality of success between candidate and employer. By feeding this information through various processes, we've achieved placement rates unheard of in the industry. Our new platform will make use of these tools in a manner that is highly scalable.

I’m excited to announce that the beta version of our app will launch soon. We’re accepting people on the waitlist, but sign up quickly before all the spots are gone - there’s 1,000 seats and we are expecting to hit capacity in 30 days.

We have an exciting road ahead of us, and I look forward to sharing the journey with you."
