Always Watching and Listening...Proverbs 15:3

"The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry." (Psalm 34:15)

One of the first things that I noticed in all new building in NAIROBI CITY,is that they are new prisons-- that there are cameras everywhere - in the hallways, at the entry doors, attached to the outside corners of buildings, even in the chapel. All the time and a while I had a conscious sense of being watched all the time.To the extent that our personal cellphones be warned to be careful what you said on the phone or to other contacts, because someone is always eavesdropping.

Proverbs 15:3 reminds us that there is a better Someone watching us all the time. God is following everything we do, everything we say, and everything that happens to us. He knows when we're hurting, struggling, and weak, and He sympathizes with us (Hebrews 4:15). He is not just listening in; He is attentive when we cry out to Him. And wonderfully, He is ready to give us "mercy and...grace to help us in our time of need" (Hebrews 4:16).

Once we realize this, knowing we're always being watched can be a source of comfort instead of stress. Where do you need God's mercy and grace in your life today? Cry out to Him - He's truly listening!
