This month?the BIG news is that I've?completed the renovation of my office, and I'm delighted with it. Take a look below ???

Our next project will be?working on updating our CVG Solutions?website with a view to making it much more interactive with useful content and thought-provoking points.

Of course, this will mean new photos, and thanks to the brilliant?Lucy Dack, a specialist in brand photography, I feel confident that this element is in great hands.

We’ve also been working hard on our not for profit?Start Talk Grow, which will always be a work in progress as we have such big plans to use this organisation to help others.

You may have noticed an update to the?STG website?already, credit due to?Nathan?and his skills in digital design - thank you, Nathan.

In addition to the new style of the website, we’ve uploaded?interviews with our expert members?offering advice for new business owners. And we’re planning so much more all the time. Keep an eye out for the new workshops we've created for BIPC and the Young Business Programme.

Start Talk Grow is about to reach its first anniversary, and I’m so proud of all that we’ve achieved in its first year. I feel confident that we’ve had a positive impact on supporting new businesses. And our team has grown from five to thirteen members. I am excited to see what will happen in the next year and more as we continue to grow and reach more and more budding entrepreneurs.

Change is a vital part of any business. We must always be open to change because this is where many fantastic ideas sprout from.

We must also be up to date on changes externally that can impact how we operate?within our companies.

We have already seen changes in the GDPR following Brexit?with the?Cross Border Data?Transfer and we suspected that this would happen.?This legislation is once again being discussed and reviewed in parliament which will bring further divergence from the GDPR that we know today.???

In these ever-changing times, our recommendation is to?be in contact with a reputable GDPR consultant to reduce your risk of exposure should legislation change abruptly.

So, I guess it goes to show that this ongoing quest for improvement and delivery of the highest standards spotlights us as a business that is working well.

I’m one of those people that are constantly striving for improvement, and I’m in my element when I’m learning about new legislation, or I’ve discovered new systems to improve how we work, or even when I’m making home improvements.??
