Most of us would have heard about Winnie-the-Pooh at some point of time. As favorite bedtime story, friendship quotes around Winnie and Christopher and many more fun stories of Winnie, the Piglet, Eyeore and the owl.
Have we ever thought what could have inspired the author A.A.Milne behind these beautiful stories between all the characters and the boy- Christopher. We may not have ever thought it was important to be thought about. But this biopic - GoodBye Christopher Robin - on #HotStar changed the way I look at Winnie-The-Pooh now.
Christopher Robin - Billy Moon - author A.A.Milne's son and his stuffed toys inspired him to pen the tales of Winnie-The-Pooh. These stories became so famous and loved by children across the world, that Billy started feeling he lost his childhood and his favorite toys to the world. He started blaming his father for making his childhood public. This also had serious impact on his adulthood and the decisions he took thereafter.
The man who gave the children of the world their favorite bedtime stories somewhere became the reason for an unhappy childhood for his own son.
This story behind the world famous Winnie-The-Pooh made me think that what we usually see in the front or as the face is not always as it appears. There is a Story behind every Story.
Before we judge anybody, lets stop and think. What could be the Story behind his/her story.
I would like to end with a quote from the author - Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them.
