There is always a spring after all!!

Yesterday’s Melbourne Cup celebration at Petra was what the doctors recommended. It came at a time when we needed something to celebrate, and I needed something to remind myself that Covid 19 is over, and I need to regroup and prepare my team for the next challenge.

For the last three months Petra suffered like any other business in NSW. A long 3 months of lockdown and physical separation have culminated to economical and psychological problems. I was excited to see my team enjoying a drink, a bite, and a joke.

The message here is that no matter what life throws at you, you must always stand up and start again. We can not give up and we should not give up and we should never accept it. Smart organizations learn from their mistakes. They reinvent themselves and refocus on the end results. As we at Petra refocus our energy towards our vision:" We are the Hospitality Solution".

I strongly believe that our lives are like the seasons of nature. Each season demands different strategy to survive to the next one. Summer prepares for the autumn while the autumn prepares for the winter, and it takes all the magic of nature to give birth to Spring.
