Always say "YES PLEASE!!"

When we were offered the chance to be part of the marketing curriculum and have a brand audit through Bournemouth University, we said yes please. What did we have to lose?
What we did not realise is how interesting the results would be!
The three groups of university students worked through our website, social media, campaigns, internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and so much more to ensure that they had a full understanding of what we do, how we do it and, most importantly, why.
I have just had the pleasure of sitting through three amazing video presentations of changes they would like us to think about, theories that we could put in place and ideas for the continuing growth of the charity whilst maintaining our core values and mission. There is a lot of food for thought, as each group had different ideas, and I have already started to implement some of those changes due to the fact I have recognised how seriously talented these young people are.
So, my advice ... if you get offered the opportunity to have some support from your local university take it ... you don't know how valuable that advice and guidance could be for your business.
