There is always one more option available if we think deeper…

These days top CN legal media People reported a new rule coming out about the inhabitants of the HEROES can apply up to 20 points in 2021 National Unified Examination of Higher Education Entrance. We are glad to see that those heroes are deeper respected, and their contribution are more popular advertised, which are good trend for the whole society, meanwhile, we also hear some complain about the “Unified” justice.

On one hand, if these heroes are alive, they shall be rewarded and respected in national way and also society way, such as better opportunities, priorities in promotion, resources sharing and so on, any direct honors to them are easy to understand and accepted by the society.

On the other hand, if these heroes are honored away, how can we reward them in a reasonable way, without breaking the rules and balance of the ordinary society, this is a new question, and this is why the new rule coming out with good vision but still many people feel unfair and complain. For example:

John is an hero, left a son Peter of 17 to take the Exam 2021, and usually he ranks 9th or 10th at a famous senior school, but only 1 student in this area will be accepted by Beijing University, now he is rewarded 20 points and get priority, what would these top 3 students Anson, Bill, Candy and their family think?

Well, there are too much limited resources under this situation, and if the reward goes to the HEROES themselves, Anson, Bill and Candy have to accept, but now things are different: that Peter did not prove value at all, so many Anson, Bill and Candy feel unfair.

Then official media posed and claimed this Rule is fair and sensible, here is the end about it in operation now. But thinking about the reward in another view, it is very common in company operation: once there is some new rules born with a good vision, sounds perfectly logical and reasonable, but still not every team member is happy to accept and abbey, and even some people may feel “hurt” by these new rules, and while we look back and review in Anson, Bill or Candy’s eyes, then we understand and feel why they are “hurt”.

Coming back to this new Rule, personally I don’t think this is a bad rule, but do we have a better way to solve it, so few complains appear and more people happy?

For the governors, HEROES are not just to respect or worship, but also to establish a good example and effect the whole society value trend, especially in culture and spirit level: our nation needs more and more heroes! Here needs motivation.

For HEROES, available or not, usually they just want to do the right things, named hero are more quite by accident, and also the rewards. Here it is a surprise.

For we ordinary people, we just want things to be under control, keep things on the track, so we feel save and happy to enjoy our simple life. Here are billions potential heroes available.

So, you see, there are no conflict at all! Then why there are complains? Because ordinary people as a specific person sees and feels the exact loss, you reward is taking his opportunity away: Peter is “stealing” Anson, Bill or Candy’s opportunity because John is a HERO!

So, what about we think out a solution to satisfy everyone without hurting anyone specific? Such as: direct billions or even trillions bonus! National bonus, unbelievable huge amount is acceptable, from national account or whole society, what will be the affections:

l Heroes are encouraged and enlightened, respected and rewarded, without hurting any specific person, few complains less pressure;

l Ordinary people still feel safe and sound and you can still go on with your daily life. If you admire heroes, then do your job well today so as to be a hero tomorrow!

l Fair to everyone, setting right examples sharing social value and vision, that’s exactly our nation needs, all win.

This is just a personal thinking about this case, it is very common in our business daily, we focus on energy saving, for renewable projects, so many stakeholders of different requirements, but if our vision is same, there is always another way to solve any problem we are facing, yes, we can make it!
