Always look on the bright side of life

For me, I think the question is really asking how do I not become overwhelmed. It is interesting in that I am currently in the hospital with my 13 year old daughter who is in for a Stem Cell transplant to cure her disease. This process is long and tedious with a multitude of tests, medications, monitoring and procedures. This is even more complicated because of the fact that she is a high risk patient. So how do I keep positive: I do this by just focusing on each event as they come along. That is instead of thinking about all of the what ifs and the impacts whether negative or positive. i just stay focused on the now and also just to resolve issues as they arise.

I also do things to distract myself: -I do online courses, play games, - have regular normal conversations with family and friends. - Exercise for at least 45 minutes per day preferably early mornings. - Eat a healthy diet and sometimes treat myself to a treat. Allow myself to be sad (I find that when we ignore our emotions they get bottled up and when they are forced out it is worse than before.). I try not to stay in this condition for long. Look at the things I am grateful for. You will be amazed at how may there are. Give myself a a lazy day where I do nothing of importance . Just chilling and eating all sorts of Cheat foods one day a month.

Spend more time with people that brings out the joy in you or makes your day great. Mostly stay away from gloomy people. Smile at strangers and it has this great impact on your spirit and body. These and more have worked for as long as I can remember. See the best way according to me is not to be positive, now you might think I am a little bit crazy But that's the truth. And when you say that you are negative what you really mean is you are thinking according to the circumstances in your surroundings. Noone in this world gets negative or depressed for nothing, there is always a reason behind someone's negative behaviour so instead of solving the root cause of your negativity people tend to force them self to think positive and that's where they make a big mistake, instead of looking inside and and getting the root cause of the negativity they try to overpower the negative thoughts with their positive thoughts which according to me is impossible.

What you need to focus on is being realistic if you hate something admit it and try to think various ways by which you can solve the situation because negative thoughts are just an indication that your brain is thinking logically considering various factors in your surrounding. If you find the reason of why you are negative you can also find a way to make your negative situations positive. Instead of solving your situations you try to ignore them, so here is an example.

35 years ago I was very badly bullied in college I was bullied several times in college I was very scared to go to college it went to so much serious level that I even considered killing myself. But instead I used all the negativity inside me to fuel the motivation for me. I joined the gym and started training for Mix Martial art and after training for 2 years I was not an expert but I had got the power to knock anybody's head off. That give me the confidence that if someone bullies me now I am going to kick his backside.Now this is an short example which you can apply in your life and kill the negativity inside you forever instead of just ignoring it and overpowering it with positivity. Remember, Don't just think positive, “Act positive”.

There are hundreds of ways out there to be positive in life. You’ll find hundreds of people who can give you advice on how to be positive. You can find lots of motivational speeches on You Tube. But, nothing will be effective, no one can help you unless You made your mind to be a Positive person. And when you do that you’ll find your own ways easily. I have gone through a lot of hard times like everyone else. Trust me when I say that it becomes very very difficult to even perform everyday actions, but I still keep going. I am not sure what exactly it is but there is this voice in my head that says ‘This can’t be it. I haven't spent all this time on this planet with my friends and family to have the thing come to an end like this’.

This does not mean that you would never feel sad or upset but the fact that after experiencing it you will come out of that feeling and continue onto your life. It the acceptance of thing and events in your life. I love being pampered and even more, I like attention. I accept this very confidently and without self-judgment that I am an attention seeker. Accepting this makes things very easy. I know what I want even when I’m sad or depressed and if not immediately, eventually I get up and call my close ones who are always ready to help.

The easiest and most effective way, is simply to deliberately choose the state of being in the world that you find most positive highest number of people around. It could be bliss, honesty, money, power, friendship, intelligence, compassion, poetry, art, beauty or whatever makes you feel better. Just check deep into your pocket for the quality of life that you value the most. The you label it and give code words really reminding you of just what feels like, sounds like, acts like and then repeat those golden words as your core ongoing mantra.

If you truly believe what you’ve just done, these three fundamental steps, as an authentic aspiration and ideal, that is precisely what you will, actually live. The more you repeat that mantra, the more you will actualize it, throughout your whole life. But, unless you repeat it, you will default back to your original negativity. Yet, so long as you repeat it, it will become, more and more, a habit, of heart, mind, soul ~ eventually, you will most fully become you and you mostly become what you wanted to be. Cheers!

Too much relatable… Baba.. ?? There’s a specific line in your article that says , “it becomes very very difficult to even perform everyday actions, but I still keep going”. This is what is an actual test of “will power” When you are able to communicate with the cosmos, You understand, how to keep going. And that’s the only thing we have in our control. And the only one that takes us towards our ultimate purpose. Great share as always ?? Regards ????
