Always Leave Room for a Miracle

If the worst feeling in the world is the absence of hope, the best may be when something wonderful happens, seemingly out of nowhere. Ah, but the "nowhere" part is an illusion.

The wisest among us are always making room for "miracles" to happen:

... they describe the job of their dreams to anyone who will listen

... when everyone else quits for the day, they pursue a few more possibilities

... they are genuinely curious about other people and fresh ideas

... they keep making new social connections, and always treasure the connections they have already established

... most importantly, they EXPECT great things to happen

These people - who are often blessed with great luck - know better than to call what happened "a miracle". They see their good fortune as the result of working towards, striving for, and believing in their own dreams.

This is most definitely not an article about The Law of Attraction. I don't believe you can simply sit on your sofa thinking about a million dollars until someone gives you a million dollars. (More likely, that strategy will leave you weak, tired and sullen.)

To grow the life of your dreams, you have to plant many seeds and care for them diligently. That's what I mean by making room for a miracle. Do a little something every day that expands your options.

Even better, do something that aims higher than you have ever aimed before. Don't stop doing the basics, but every day add a little extra: make a few more calls, be kind to a few more people, ask a few more questions, and listen a bit harder to what others have to say.

In other words, leave room for a miracle.

In business, one expect profit. This profit may come always but all on a sudden there may be loss. The business may fall, may not steer up again. So the business man should have planned earlier for a miracle business to meet the challenge. Every man should emphasize for a miracle in advance

Miracle is no direct science but your own actions beyond your imagination and systems.

I like the idea of sowing many seeds and caring for them diligently. But that is where focus would help. Without that clarity of scope, the field becomes so big that it becomes impossible to nurture and care for those seeds and saplings. While I agree that every opportunity to help others must be explored, I believe that the same , if done within a specified area of interest/ passion; can create bigger miracles.
