Always be Learning

All life is a learning experience. It could be on the personal front, emotional front or the professional front. We are affected by all that happens around us. These daily experiences, moments and events shape our responses to the world around us and they in reaction to that reciprocate to us! Yes , it’s a full circle and there’s no escaping from this.

While we experience a lot of positive moments in our day to day life, we also come across many unpleasant and scary ones. These negative experiences can sometime leaving a lasting looming impress on our minds and hearts. How then is the best way to cope with these inevitable experiences?

The best way is to look at these as learning experiences. While we don’t have any issues with positive experiences, both positive and negative experiences teach us valuable lessons in life, for life.

If we take from them, the lesson, then they don’t remain negative any more. They become teaching moments of our life. And thinking of these moments then will elicit a positive emotion – one leaning on learning, wisdom, maturity and caution.

But that’s not all I mean by Always be Learning. While life on a daily basis is a permanent teacher, there are so many other venues for learning.

 If you are a painter, there’s more art forms to learn to paint; if you are a dancer, there’s more dance forms to learn; if a doctor, more research to learn from. And not only that ,there is so much to learn – learn a new language, learn a new sport, learn to forgive, learn to be regular , earn a new degree –enhance yourself, improve yourself.

My motto for 2017 is to “Always be Learning “. To feel that I am continuously enriching my life and improving myself, becoming more able, more confident. Add value to self and to people around you.
