Always follow the right path even if alone

Always follow the right path even if alone

What is right and wrong after all? Who decides which path is right and which way is wrong ?? The answer is you, your conscience! Since, people have their own perspective and perception towards anything. What is right to you, may be wrong to others and vice versa! The reason is, people have set their own boundaries for everything , when that thin line of their boundary is breached, they feel it's wrong! But one thing is for sure, we may not be answerable to anyone, but we, our conscience knows that, we are doing or done wrong!

Because of our deeds, if someone is hurt physically or mentally, then that's wrong. Remember, no one has the right to hurt anyone. Because what we shouldn’t be doing allures us. Because we are curious. Because the right way is so boring and predictable. Because we crave excitement. Because we think we can instantly bounce back from being hurt. Because we like a little fire under our seats. Then we think of the what if’s…when it’s all said and done, we have regrets but we also have numerous life lessons. Eventually, we turn grateful for the experiences regardless of the destruction it initially caused, because we are stronger, with each and every time we run into the wrong, we thought at the moment was oh so right.

It is weird to say this but to a lot of people, there is quite a common phase of psychological irrationality many experience when questioned about their stance on right and wrong. While they fear things they know it would be considered wrong and bad, simultaneously people are also weirdly inclined to get “excited”/ aroused by the mere possibility and assumption that they still have a shot at making the wrong their right and they could even feel proud of their rewardable actions at the very least.

Also, millennial generation loves defying what is /has been considered the norm and the “way to go” in any segment of the society. It seems to these young, fearless, bright bold minds that rights are sometimes just too boring and bland to pursue or even to imitate. Social media startups proved them right. Billion-backed successful ventures rooted in crazy ideas proved them right. Being right in today’s world is their so-called lame duck. In a face paced world that is filled with endless, limitless opportunities and possibilities, how often can we still afford “just being right” when our millennial counterparts out there regularly challenge the preconceptions, the norms of what is right and what is wrong?

It’s definitely going to be a tough ride. But that said. I have to agree that things about morality, virtue, etiquettes …these things have a relatively definite right and wrong. Just make sure while attempting the other challenges, don’t forget learning the fundamentals —without them, you can never get yourself far in any adventures you embark on! There are a number of factors that cause people to not do what is right. First, you must understand that knowledge is not power.

For example, thousands, maybe millions, of people who smoke cigarettes, know that smoking is bad for their health, but their desire (addiction) to smoke wins out every time. The same can be said for over indulgence of alcohol, drugs, eating, sex, mistreating people, and so on. There's a sense of (short term) satisfaction experienced from these 'violations', and since the mind (subconscious) was created to run on automatic, these negative behaviors persist. Fortunately, these negative behaviors can be eliminated or replaced with positive behaviors, but first the 'violator' has to want to change--easier said than done, but doable nonetheless. Cheers!
