There is ALWAYS a different perspective

Did you know that from the sky, this collection of brambles and sand reads Coronado?
Sure, it doesn’t present as anything coherent from this line of sight.
But if you were flying over, you could read it. ?However, you must find a different POV (point of view), and in this case, a higher perspective to see it.
So often life is like that.
What I see right in front of me, looks one way. ?Could be very chaotic or horribly wrong, but from another view may be quite clear.?
That’s the challenge in living just in our sensory view of the world or reality. ?We don’t have all that much perspective.
It’s not always about getting a broader view or higher view. ?Yes, sometimes that’s important. ?What I think is more important is just knowing there is for sure another perspective. ?Maybe higher but maybe just a different angle.
For me, just knowing I don’t have the only or right perspective invites me to be relational and curious.
Yes, sometimes I can pull the moral high ground card and just say – “that is wrong”. However, even if that is what I think, or most would agree is ‘the truth’, it still isn’t the only answer and makes for enemies or division/separation.?
We are in this together and we keep forgetting that. ?
We keep thinking we have the morally ‘right’ answer, and let’s face it, with that POV there isn’t much kindness, acceptance, love, or togetherness.
Here’s the deal. ?As a single little life form on this planet, in this moment in time, I’m looking at brambles on a beach. ?I don’t know for sure what is ‘right’. ?I may have something to say about what direction we go, but whether you agree or disagree with me, at that point, I can either believe my ego, and fight to be right, or love my neighbor, my enemy, and myself, and make my choice about my next step. ??
Sometimes we are going to have to agree to disagree. ?
Sometimes we may go in very different directions. ?
But hopefully we can consider that there may be a different perspective that has some input that is worth considering.?
Those are my thoughts this week. ?Have a great week.
