Yes as per Newton's third law "every action as equal and opposite reaction"and therefore one has to face the consequences for all the actions one has taken good, bad or ugly. Our Karma always pays us back in this life itself and makes us pay for whatever we have done in the past. If you remember, every single action has some sort of consequence. Some consequences may be unseen, and other consequences may be very obvious, but they all exist.
Remember that it is not only for physical activities, even the oral/spoken words too have impact, depending on the intensity of the action. The reaction might be out-of-proportion sometimes, or it might be ignored, or even to the extent of, hard hitting thump, measured with more /less intensity, frequency, are also counted.
In fact even the act of not taking any action is in fact an action in itself, and consequently gives rise to opportunity costs. Being a human being made of flesh inhabiting in the fabric of gravitational field, we are bound by the limitations imposed upon us by time and it is time which gives rise to consequences.
If there were no consequences to our actions we couldn’t learn how to cross the street by ourselves or anything else. We know something because we have been taught it. This cause and effect relationship is how we learn to live in this world. We may never learn of all the causes and effects that direct us in this life, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t there.
Since action constitutes life’s most important function its consequences also are significant in succeeding in whatever field you are working. Actions are result of your thinking, beliefs and several other things deciding your behaviour, relationships etc. If thinking is proper with knowledge you can act towards your desired goal; sometimes it so happens as future is unpredictable you may not achieve desired result.
That is why Gita talks of Nishkama Karma and says “Karmnevasyaadikare, ma phaleshu kadachana” Which means that your duty is to act, fruit of it is not in your hands however good or bad it may be. Many people might say that the very action also may contains itself the result for example, when America decided to drop an atom bomb killing millions and maiming equal numbers in Japan, the consequences of the bombing was the attack on Pearl Harbour.
Selfless actions are not harmful like selfish actions. If you sow a seed on the soil which is prepared properly, the seed will sprout into big plant and will grow to feed you in a given period of time therefore we say “As you sow, so you reap”. Karma therefore has been divided as Sat Karma and Dush Karma - good and bad actions depending on their consequences. The part of the Divine is clearly visible in all sorts of Karmas and their consequences.
This is a changeless eternal law enforced by the Superior power ruling this cosmos of ours. We are just tools in the hands of Almighty as we are both imperfect and ignorant of many things about the working of the natural forces that decide results or consequences of our actions, Al the human ideas and ideals like love, truth, reality, knowledge, wisdom, compassion, truth, reality, self etc. are linked knowingly or unknowingly with each action and also its consequences. Keep doing good karma so that the consequences also will be better for you always Stay blessed! #kishoreshintre

4 年Kishore Shintre , mithra, our natural world progress through changes, every natural occurrence that we witness and we know is change. every change has a consequence as God creates our natural world as a systemic world, we are part and parcel of the natural world, so we are inevitably connected with the changes and consequences. its only the time lag that allow us to witness the consequence or otherwise. stay blessed always. cheers, ???? i’m an #unlearningenthusiast .
