Today we are excited to launch the 17th brand for our IHG family – Vignette? Collection , our new Luxury & Lifestyle collection brand. What’s more, we’ve already secured the first two fantastic hotels for the collection in Australia and Thailand, with many more to come.

The launch marks the continued evolution of IHG’s portfolio, which has grown from 11 to 17 incredible brands in a little over four years. In that time, we’ve invested in our brands and strategically introduced new ones that add value and balance to our portfolio. We’ve added avid and Atwell Suites to an already industry-leading midscale position led by our powerhouse Holiday Inn Brand Family and extended stay brands. We’ve strengthened our position in upscale, too, with voco, our fastest ever global brand launch, and built the second biggest Luxury & Lifestyle offer in the world with the acquisitions of Regent, Six Senses, and now the launch of Vignette Collection.

There’s no doubt it’s been a challenging 18 months for us all, but as we’ve stayed committed to taking care of our guests, owners and colleagues, we’ve also stayed alive to new opportunities to accelerate our growth by always building on what we can offer our guests and owners.

As with any brand we launch or acquire, our Vignette Collection offers something owners want and guests need. It serves demand from independent hotel owners for fast access to our powerful systems and technology, and it meets consumer desire for one-of-a-kind stays at properties that still come with all the loyalty benefits and assurances of a big hotel group. ?

We’re excited about the future for this new brand, which we think can grow to more than 100 hotels over the next decade. In fact, no matter which part of the industry you look at, wherever you are in the world, IHG’s portfolio paints an exciting future for us as company, and for our owners and guests. And that’s down to the incredible focus and hard work of all our teams, who, even with a pandemic thrown in, are focused on ensuring that IHG Hotels & Resorts goes from strength to strength as travel recovers and the world gets back to enjoying True Hospitality.?

The name is always great. IHG has launched very successful brands these years, VOCO is a great example. Vignette could be even more. Great leadership Keith Barr ??

Wow! Fabulous news Keith! I’m in St. Augustine at the beach and saw the Voco here and thought the exterior looked amazing....kind of like a cruise ship. I’m going to have to take a peek inside!
