Atex environments require explosion-proof equipment, additional safety measures, special certifications and meticulous inspections. Dynaco offers quality solutions for both Atex zones 1/21 and 2/22 that are doubly certified, save time and money, and provide peace of mind. In short, by installing S-5 Atex high-speed doors in explosion-sensitive areas, you increase the safety of people and products.

?A safe working environment

Many industries have to deal with Atex zones: from the pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical sectors to the food and textile industries. When flammable gases, vapours or combustibles come into contact with oxygen, any source of ignition can cause an explosion. Sparks, flames, high temperatures or static energy must therefore be avoided at all times. As an employer, you need to be able to allow employees to work in a safe environment and minimise the risk of explosion. Dynaco S-5 Atex high-speed explosion-proof doors for Category 2 (Zone 1/21) and Category 3 (Zone 2/22) are an asset in this respect.

Twice certified

It's one thing to say that a door is explosion-proof. At Dynaco, we make this proof a reality and our Atex solutions for zones 1/21 and 2/22 can also present official certificates for the entire door as a finished and operational product. This is unique in the industry and is a major added value for our customers, as it not only gives them peace of mind, but also saves them a lot of extra administrative work.

In Atex environments, all door components must be explosion-proof: from the metal structure to the electrical components, including the door leaf and guides. All these components are always certified separately by the respective manufacturer. But Dynaco's work doesn't stop there, because in addition to these underlying certificates, S-5 Atex doors also come with a type certificate, which relates to the model, and a door certificate with serial number, which is issued only after inspection of the fully finished and pre-assembled door. Apragaz, an official European notified body, visits our workshop for this purpose. They check, inspect and test compliance with Atex regulations, and only then issue their official C1 inspection report.

In addition to their dual certification, Dynaco S-5 Atex high-speed doors offer other important advantages. For example, they reduce the risk of contamination, ensure better working conditions and are energy-efficient. What's more, these doors reduce all Atex-related costs. They allow easy distribution of the different zones, minimising the surface area that has to comply with Atex requirements. Finally, the doors have a small footprint, take up little space and can be adapted to the specific needs of the company, guaranteeing trouble-free operation.
