In the field of Aluminum extrusion, the extrusion press plays a key role in the process of manufacturing aluminium products. The Solution

The use of a Quaker Houghton fire-resistant hydraulic oil for aluminium extrusion presses considerably reduces the risk of fire and the spread of fire within the manufacturing facility.

Quintolubric? 888 guarantees long-lasting lubrication, superior to any mineral hydraulic oil. In addition, it is approved by Factory Mutual, and provides excellent biodegradability and low aquatic toxicity, making it ideal for use where better environment protection is required.

This guarantees the correct functioning of all the equipment, the protection of workers of fire hazards and the preservation of the environment.

The Product

Quaker Houghton’s QUINTOLUBRIC? polyol ester HFD-U fluids are biodegradable and fire-resistant hydraulic fluids that do not contain water. HFD fluids are usually based on synthetic base stocks or esters that combine reasonable to good fire-resistant properties with excellent lubrication performance. HFD fluids are designed to operate in oil hydraulic equipment and are approved by Factory Mutual Global as a less hazardous hydraulic fluid.
