5754 aluminum sheet is usually an alloy in the wrought magnesium-aluminum family. Since 5754 alloy contains the highest percentage of aluminum components, it is used in many applications. Aluminum alloys are formed through certain processes, which are rolling, extrusion, and forging in sequence, rather than casting. 5754 aluminum sheet is cold worked but has low ductility. Apart from aluminum, it also contains iron, silicon, manganese, copper, chromium, magnesium, and zinc.
