Altus Partners Monthly Roundup
Welcome to this month's news roundup. In this edition
Altus Partners is proud to have partnered with 10,000 Black Interns for another successful year of hosting an intern, demonstrating our commitment to advocating for diversity in the workplace. This year, we went one step further, collaborating with Pollen Street Capital to launch our inaugural intern exchange program, and were delighted to welcome Daryl Briggs from 10,000 Black Interns and Jennifer Burns from GAIN UK through this initiative.
Our intern, Zurielle O. , had the pleasure of interviewing Daryl and Jennifer about their experiences as students exploring opportunities and as interns.
More competition.
Fewer deals.
A more challenging economic environment.
These all impact how private equity firms think about talent.
In a recent article Chief Strategy Officer at The LCap Group, Samuel Robberts, delves into how the traditional approach of recruiting top financial minds from prestigious institutions may no longer suffice. Talent strategies in private equity need to evolve, with firms adopting a more nuanced approach.

On Friday 30th August our very own Edward Chamberlain and others from The LCap Group took on the impressive challenge of a 55 mile London to Brighton bike ride to help raise funds for Prevent Breast Cancer , the only charity solely dedicated to predicting and preventing breast cancer in the UK.
'The LCap Scramblers' represented a wide range of abilities, from regular riders to some who were getting back on the saddle after some decades, with bikes to match! Winding through the Surrey Hills was challenging, not least thanks to a couple of tumbles along the way, but the entire team was delighted to cross the finish line and enjoy a well-deserved drink in the sunshine on Brighton's seafront.
The team would love to make their fundraising efforts a round number and nudge over the £700 mark so if you'd like to donate, you can do so here >>
