Me: Final question. What does the art of elevation mean to you?
Visionary: *chuckling to himself, cracking a smile I can hear through the phone*?It sounds cool to be elevated…until you’re suspended in the air and don’t know if you’re ever gonna land. *pauses
Listen D, I’m scared. I’m absolutely terrified but I love it. This is the Art.
Well, that's one way to put it. Here's another.
The art of elevation is having an enduring desire for high places.
Lovers of the art embrace the peaks and the valleys without mourning the tiny deaths of evolution(for too long).
You see, the destiny of a true visionary is a life of service and sacrifice. What are you willing to do? What are you willing to give up?
If your eyes deceive you, will you pluck them out? If your feet refuse you, will you leave them behind?
Visionaries are not born with natural immunity to altitude sickness. They develop it through a constant pursuit of high places. And they love it, they absolutely love it.
Heres the message.
If your heart isn't burning with passion, you aren't climbing enough mountains.
