What does Juneteenth recognize??

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, signifies the liberation of the last enslaved individuals in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865. It symbolizes the resilience, strength, and enduring spirit of African Americans throughout their fight for freedom and equality. Today, we take this opportunity to reflect on our shared history and reaffirm our dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.?

Why does Alteryx observe Juneteenth??

Juneteenth also highlights the struggles and triumphs of African Americans in their fight for freedom and equality. Commemorating this historical event helps raise awareness and further education on both historical and current events.??
