An alternative video reality

If you’re like me, when I think of Artificial intelligence (AI), my mind instantly goes to sophisticated tech, robots and high production cost. But actually, AI broadly refers to any human-like behaviour displayed by a machine or system, so the spectrum of what AI can provide us is huge.
Before 1949, computers could execute commands, but they could not remember what they did as they were not able to store these commands. When you think of the change between what we can experience in AI today, versus 1949 it’s staggering, and seriously impressive.
Recently, we’ve been looking for video solutions to supplement our portfolio of video and animation services. Video can be a powerful tool in learning, it enables a multi modal experience, allows us to engage in self-paced learning, bring simplicity to complex topics, connect us to stories, emotions and to people – as I'm sure most of you already know!
It’s often the people, characters and settings in these videos which enhance the human connection, and on most occasions, this also increases the production investment and timeline. It’s with this in mind we decided to explore solutions which enable these connections, without compromising production quality. This is where AI avatars as presenters neatly slots in.
AI avatars are digital characters that live in a virtual world and in this instance, a broad selection of very realistic human AI presenters which can be used throughout your video experience.
It’s important to note, that on many occasions, there isn’t a substitute for a particular person, narrative or setting, but when this isn’t needed, adding a ‘human’ element to your messaging is often very effective, helping to create connections. Working with an amazing AI video creation platform, we’ve been able to strike the balance between ‘people’, animation and cost effective production (up to 80% saving in time and budget).
Take a look at the example below and see what you think.
We’re delighted, excited (and quite surprised) to have found what we’ve been looking for, and are keen to keep exploring the platform to see what else can be achieved.
Content is easily translated and can be recreated in 65 languages, the investment is significantly lower as is the production time.

2 年We loved running avatar auditions on a recent project, they take rejection so well!! Feedback from learners has been great so far. We'll share more examples in the future ??
