By way of a print test whilst preparing to publish Don McCullin's three volume Limited Edition Irreconcilable Truths, The English Group were also privileged to design and print the only publication - An Alternative Palette - ever to feature a selection of McCullin's colour photography.
With over 30 books published across his career, all have only showcased his work in black & white; and this 'not for sale' publication provides an essential insight to a parallel body of work that is equally significant.
An Alternative Palette features work from the 60s and 70s photographed while McCullin travelled through the Indonesian archipelago; in this case reproducing his images shot whilst in Papua New Guinea and the Mentaway Islands.
