On the guidance for Ugandan investors on investable opportunities in the electricity segments, Edward Iruura shared that there is still a deficit for funding in distribution and transmission, which presents an opportunity for investing. Regarding financial solutions for affordable housing, Simon Rutega noted that most of the population in real estate is less than 30 years. He also emphasised that it is the duty of real estate professionals to become more engaged in real estate dialogues, with the aim of stimulating greater investment in affordable housing, connecting investors with potential investments, and new market opportunities related to a rising urban middle class, an increasingly localised construction material industry, and innovations.
