Altenar serves up improved tennis vertical
Altenar has upgraded the tennis vertical available through our sportsbook for ATP and Challenger Tour events thanks to the integration of official TDI data through Sportradar.
The recent launch means Altenar’s tennis products are being powered by fast data live from venues and allows for an increased number of in-play betting events as well as micro markets.
Sportradar leverages advanced artificial intelligence and deep tennis data from TDI to process hundreds of thousands of data points from every match on the ATP and Challenger Tours to generate a vast increase in betting opportunities.
The introduction of micro markets allows users to bet on events with an immediate result, such as the outcome of the next serve, break points or the total number of shots in a point.
The improved tennis vertical is the latest example of Altenar’s use of premium data feeds from official rights holders to provide sportsbook users with an improved betting experience and help boost retention rates for operators, ultimately leading to increased revenue.
Micro markets have already proved hugely successful in soccer and major US sports, and the expansion into tennis allows operators to offer an enhanced product for another of the most popular sports for betting.
Antonis Karakousis, Altenar’s Director of Operations, said: “This is a pivotal opportunity to achieve our growth ambitions and fulfill our commitment to elevating the user experience. This partnership will serve as a catalyst for innovation, enabling us to deliver unique betting options with the lowest possible latency across all our operators.”
