Altenar expertise can help Latam operators grow
Altenar is heading to Miami to showcase our expertise in South and Central America at SBC Summit Latinoamérica on October 30-31.
The company has enjoyed plenty of success in the region and has rolled out a number of new sportsbook features which are suited to the needs of Latam operators, resulting in Altenar being shortlisted for Sportsbook Supplier of the Year at the 2024 SBC Awards Latinoamérica.
Sales Manager Diego Salas is part of the Altenar team which will be in attendance in Miami and he will be moderating a panel discussing the impact of AI in sports betting operations.
Ahead of the conference, we spoke to Diego to get his thoughts on Altenar’s strategy and expertise in Latin America.
The expo in Miami will attract operators from all over Latin America. How can Altenar’s expertise in the region help brands grow?
Altenar has a deep understanding of the Latin American market, offering localised solutions tailored to each country’s culture and regulations. This expertise helps brands maximise growth by delivering customised products and excellent support, driving user engagement and market success. Latin America is a diverse region, and our expertise ensures we offer the right mix of local and international content to maximise growth potential.
How important is Latin America for Altenar’s growth strategy?
Latin America is central to our growth strategy, with countries like Brazil, Colombia and Peru advancing regulatory frameworks. For us, it’s crucial to continue expanding our presence here, as the demand for a high-quality sportsbook solution is increasing. Likewise, we are seeing a strong demand for our sportsbook solution in Mexico, which is an important market for Altenar’s growth.
How excited are you for the future of iGaming in Latin America given the regulatory changes we have seen in various countries?
We are optimistic. Countries like Colombia show how regulation fosters innovation and trust. As more nations - like Brazil and Peru - regulate, the opportunities for operators and players are immense, and Altenar is prepared to support them. Our operational services team are well versed in launching regulated markets, while also being able to deliver ongoing value to our clients in these markets.
How are Altenar’s products suited to the needs of Latam operators in terms of player engagement and driving up revenues?
Our products are built to engage players while driving profitability for operators, so we focus on delivering a smooth experience with personalised features, Bet Boost tools, Reward System tool, among others, and localised content. Altenar also provides in-depth analytics tools to help operators make decisions. Our sportsbook is designed for scalability, meaning it can grow with the operators as they expand their market share.
During the expo you will be moderating a panel on AI in sports betting. Do you expect AI to become an even bigger part of the way in which sports betting companies operate?
Definitely. AI will continue to revolutionise sports betting, from predictive analytics to personalised content are just a few we have foreseen. In my opinion, AI is set to become a great tool for operators to stay competitive and enhance both operational and player experiences. Furthermore, we have launched our Advanced Data Intelligence service which forms the foundation of the market-leading player personalisation features we will release in 2025.
