Altas Auto new electric city minibus

Altas Auto in the news. Sweden's automotive media RT-Forum reports on our new EV bus, saying: it is one of the leading manufacturers of minibuses in Europe and is now presenting its newest electric minibus with low floors, "Altas Novus Cityline LW". The 22-passenger vehicle is based on the best-selling "Sprinter" platform.

Since 2009, the company has been cooperating with Busscenter Haninge AB in Sweden and is today ready to deliver not only traditional minibuses but also electric vehicles.

Altas Auto currently offers 12 minibus models for passenger transport, based on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter and MAN TGE vehicles. In the spring of 2021, Altas introduced its first 100 percent electric minibuses "Novus" for passenger transport in suburbs and cities.

The latest addition to Alta's product line, which was presented at Public Transport Day 2022, is the LW version of Novus Cityline. LW stands for long-wheelbase and it directly describes that the new model is longer, has more space in the low-floor part and can accommodate more passengers than before.

Alta's electric minibuses can be charged with a maximum power of 100 kW. It takes 50 minutes to recharge to 80% and return to traffic. The powerful 150 kW motor provides smooth and dynamic driving in all conditions.

The minibuses use scalable NMC battery technology with 3 units of the battery pack. In total, they provide a capacity of 115 kWh.
