• Altair and EMA announced the integration of Ultra Librarian into Altair ECAD and multiphysics solutions. Ultra Librarian gives users instant access to more than 16 million symbols, footprints, and 3D models and provides a comprehensive, cloud-based library that eliminates the need for manual building and maintenance.

• Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (GAC) research and development (R&D) center is responsible for new technology development and the vehicle design of brands such as Trumpchi and AION. Using Altair? Squeak and Rattle Director?, GAC’s R&D center created a strong S&R simulation process and helped create one of the quietest vehicles in the market.
• Altair and PROSTEP have expanded their long-standing partnership, making it easier to connect Altair’s design and simulation platform Altair HyperWorks to popular PLM solutions. Watch this webinar to learn more about what this new era of collaboration has in store for users.?

HPC and Cloud

• Otis Mobility used the Altair One? cloud innovation gateway to access a collaborative platform with scalable cloud high-performance computing (HPC) resources and ready access to critical simulation solvers. With Altair One, the team was able to deploy the software they needed, powered by a seamless license system, and use cloud HPC resources to get results faster, gaining a competitive edge while delivering safer, more efficient products. They also experienced a staggering decrease in HPC-related costs.?

• Fabrizio Sara has been named as the new country manager for Altair Italy. Sara joins Altair with more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing of mathematical modeling and simulation software while at MathWorks and Teoresi.
