Can you access your Company Page on LinkedIn? You might assume you have access, but it's not always the case. I recently encountered not one, not two, but three clients who couldn't update their Company Page because they lacked access!

It's frustratingly common: the page exists, visible to all, yet inaccessible to the rightful owners. How does this happen? Often, it's due to someone else setting it up for you, or having multiple LinkedIn profiles, leading to confusion and lost passwords are the main contributor here. Get your passwords and access in order folks.

Don't let this happen to you! Take this as your cue to ensure you have full access to your Company Page. Don't let an oversight prevent you from managing your online presence effectively.

Microsoft just?introduced?a whirlwind of AI announcements ahead of its BUILD conference, including the world’s first ‘AI-first’ PCs, a feature that allows Copilot to speak, ‘Recall’ to remember everything you’ve done on your screen, and more. Cool? Scary? Nerve wrecking? Maybe all of that applies. Not sure I want RECALL on everything.

"Now with Recall, you can access virtually what you have seen or done on your PC in a way that feels like having photographic memory. Copilot+ PCs organize information like we do – based on relationships and associations unique to each of our individual experiences. This helps you remember things you may have forgotten so you can find what you’re looking for quickly and intuitively by simply using the cues you remember."

Here are the highlights:

• A new system enables Copilot+ PCs to run AI workloads up to 20x faster and 100x more efficiently than traditional PCs.
• Windows 11 has been rearchitected specifically for AI, integrating the Copilot assistant directly into the OS.
• New AI experiences include a new feature called?Recall, which allows users to search for anything they’ve seen on their screen with natural language.
• Copilot’s new screen-sharing feature?allows AI to watch, hear, and understand what a user is doing on their computer and answer questions in real-time.
• Copilot+ PCs will start at $999, and ship with OpenAI's latest GPT-4o models.

Google's New AI-Powered Search Experience

I touched on this last week, but it is such a big change that I felt it needed to be shared again. I saw the changes first hand while searching on my phone. I didn't like it - but that's because it's new and different. Regardless of whether I like it - it is here to stay for now.

Here's the low-down:

Google's new AI-powered search engine experience is revolutionizing how we interact with search and transforming SEO practices. This groundbreaking update introduces several innovative features that make search more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.

• Circle to Search:Search any content on your screen without leaving the current app.Simply circle, highlight, or scribble on images, text, or videos to find relevant information instantly.Seamless integration for an intuitive and efficient search process.
• Generative AI Capabilities:Provides contextual and comprehensive answers.AI-generated snapshots of key information with follow-up suggestions.Conversational mode for a natural flow of inquiry and deeper topic exploration.

My Thoughts:

These updates are game-changers, making search more intuitive and efficient. The ability to search within any app, get AI-generated summaries, and have a conversational search experience shows how AI can simplify our daily tasks. The enhanced shopping feature is a fantastic addition, giving all the info you need in one place.

For businesses, this means a shift in SEO strategy. Traditional keyword optimization won't cut it anymore. High-quality, relevant content is now crucial. Focus on engaging, informative content that follows E-E-A-T principles to stay visible. Adapting to multimodal queries is essential too. Your content needs to work across text, images, and voice search. It's a big change, but it's also an exciting opportunity to connect with users in more dynamic ways.

WhatsApp is testing an AI-generated profile picture feature?- WhatsApp’s latest beta for Android is testing an option for AI profile pictures. The feature would enable users to generate custom profile pictures based on text descriptions. The fact that it’s already showing up on the Android beta app is a strong sign that this feature could be rolled out to all WhatsApp users soon, including those on iOS.

Microsoft is turning Windows Copilot into a regular app - and here's why you'll like it?- Instead of being stuck with a static sidebar, you'll be able to move, snap, and resize the AI assistant's window just like any other Windows app. The change is already showing up in a Windows 11 Insider build.

Call me.... Arc Search’s new Call Arc feature lets you ask questions by ‘making a phone call’?- Arc Search, the new app from The Browser Company, is introducing a way for users to get quick answers on the go using their voice. The AI-powered feature, Call Arc, works by essentially getting users to place a quick phone call to get answers to queries. To access the feature, open the app and then hold the phone to your ear and begin asking your question. The app will then work to provide you with instant voice responses.

Alphabet, Meta eye multimillion-dollar AI partnerships with Hollywood studios?- The companies held talks with major Hollywood studios on licensing content for use in AI video generation software, and have offered tens of millions of dollars to partner with studios. Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly interested in licensing some of its programs to train AI models, but not its entire library. Netflix & Disney are not willing to license their content, they are interested in other types of collaboration.
