The almost March Special

Not every picture can be a winner.

Happy almost March!

If January trudged its way through 31 days, then February legged it through 29. That extra day was barely noticeable, even if it hasn't happened yet at the time of writing — and possibly still hasn't by the time you read this.? Anyway, hello.

So what's been going on since we last spoke?

  • We've been busy promoting Elite Business Live 2024, which kicks off on Wednesday 13 March. See more about that below.
  • Moja HQ has had loads of guests spend practically the whole day with us. BIG NAMES include the likes of Choose to Grow's?Emma J Chandler. While Emma was in, she?recorded a podcast, prepped for an award, attended multiple meetings, and received?some social media coaching... And then possibly made a little bed for herself in the corner of the office.
  • Because we want you to make podcasts with us, we made a new promo video. Did you see it??Have a look here.

That's enough of that, though. Let's crack on!

ELITE BUSINESS LIVE 2024?kicks off on March 13 at St. Paul's. I don't think it's in the actual Cathedral... (Checks notes) No. No it isn't. But it IS at 10 Godliman St, which is pretty near.

There are STILL tickets left, and you can buy them right here:

As the EB100 website itself says:

You won’t be sold to. You won’t be lectured. You will learn, generate leads and meet new contacts.

If you missed it elsewhere, then you should now watch Sophie's?TELEVISION ADVERT. And talking of Sophie...

LISTEN TO THE AUDIENCE GROWTH PODCAST

We need to take a new photo of Sophie.

Sophie Milliken* has been out and about again. Earlier this month, she was a guest on episode 111 (which is a nice round number) of the?Audience Growth Podcast.

*MBE

The Audience Growth Podcast (or AGP) is the FLAGSHIP programme of the prolific,?multi-award-winning Marketing Strategist Niki Hutchison . Niki is the CEO of The Enjoy Marketing? Agency and Co-founder of Adventures in Marketing, an annual small business and marketing event held in Edinburgh. Niki and Sophie** are similar creatures of equal power.?As a result, listening to these marketing behemoths thrash it out over the airwaves is pretty dynamic... AND very informative on the topic of raising your profile, both online and in person.

**MBE

Give it a listen here.

SIDE NOTE: Each episode of the AGP starts abruptly, in a practice known as a "cold open."?You're immediately right in the heat of the action. Now, you might think you've accidentally clipped the start off, but rest easy... If you stick around for 30 seconds, the title music fades in?and the show begins, exactly as you'd expect.

While we're on the topic of?Sophie Milliken*** and podcasts, the latest episodes of Beyond the Bio are OUT NOW.?

***MBE

Yeah, it's the same photo.

LISTEN TO EPISODE 28 HERE

On 'Level up on LinkedIn' Sophie talks about: ?

? How to?elevate your LinkedIn page

?? How to use it to strategically raise your profile

?? A bunch of FREE things you can do that help you stand out

So look no further?for?your one-stop guide to upping your LinkedIn game.

LISTEN TO EPISODE 29 - WINNING AWARDS WITH EMMA CHANDLER

Sophie talks to Emma J Chandler about developing people, creating inclusive working communities, and generally improving the lot of leaders everywhere. They also chat about when in your career to enter awards, and discuss the awards Emma has won, and how she used those wins to elevate her profile.?

LISTEN TO EPISODE 30 - ?PERSONAL BRANDING DECODED, WITH ASH JONES

Sophie's latest guest is Ash Jones — Founder of Great Influence . They discuss the term?"personal branding", the perception of what that is, how it connects?to company?branding, and where it might head in the future.

Listen to each and every one of them via the big blue caps text above. They all go into your ears real nice, and leave you feeling all informed and fulfilled.

It's rumoured that Admiral Collingwood's ghost haunts the kitchen area of the 4th floor, causing extreme coldness.

Collingwood Buildings — the poorly insulated grade II listed building, and home of Moja HQ — was built in 1809. It's named after Vice Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood (he's not on LinkedIn),?who was?second-in-command to Admiral Lord Nelson in the Battle of Trafalgar.

That'll do it for another issue. See you in a couple of weeks or so.

Best wishes,

Team Moja
