Satu Sells Herself

They do say that a good book sells itself; and that word of mouth is the best recommendation. So it's great that since my novel Searching for Satu was republished in January 2019, she has been selling particularly well face-to-face. Although she is available on Amazon, in both eBook and paperback versions, I am happiest when making personal sales with signed copies because that gives me a direct connection to the reader. Most of all I'm delighted to have been invited to speak at a number of book clubs. It is a real pleasure to be able to discuss my work with avid readers who are honest and vocal in their criticism.

By the way, apologies to readers in Australia, where a distribution issue means that currently only the eBook version is available.

Publication of this 2nd edition of Satu marks the start of the next phase in my writing career, which has waxed and waned over the years but to which I have always returned, as to my first love. After the summer I will shift my focus even more to writing, with the aim of finishing and publishing two more novels of very different kinds next year. You can find more information about them on my author's website (see my contact details) - but of course that just represents my current plan and life, as we all know, has a habit of intervening...
