Almeda launches Internship Scheme

Today marks a very special occasion for Almeda as we launch our very first Internship Scheme.
Developed in partnership with the University of Bristol, we have worked hard to connect with recent graduates and individuals who would like to learn more about the facilities management and food service industries. Individuals are welcomed onto the programme for a variety of periods and given first-hand and live experience of working within the business.
Aside from gaining relevant and exciting experience, our internship aims to increase the individual’s skills and knowledge in the workplace, demonstrate the variety of roles within the FM industry while looking to close the skills gap, offer individuals insights into the way that we operate as a successful business while providing fantastic networking opportunities and skill development.
We have begun our Internship Scheme by today welcoming Adam Morris into the Almeda family. Adam joins us as Business Development Executive Intern after recently gaining a first class degree in English Literature from the University of Bristol. Adam’s success within his degree follows his successful completion of a compelling dissertation where he argued that modern American literature is only just starting to question its country’s idyllic conception of its founding.
As part of our core values of striving for personal and professional growth while offering a bespoke service, we tailor our schemes to the interests of each individual. Adam will primarily be based in our Bids and Tenders team and will be assisting with putting together bids, following his interest in the written word and business development as a whole.
Adam has looked forward to joining Almeda since being offered the internship as he believes that he is well-aligned with our values, alongside our passionate, proactive approach to work. Adam considers himself to be a self-starter and likes to keep motivated by regularly playing football, running and practising judo. We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Adam as part of the Almeda family.
