Alma Nove -- the Original Wahlberg Restaurant -- Expands Menu

While Wahlburgers gets most of the press as the Wahlbergs' restaurant, it all started in June, 2010 with the amazing Alma Nove. This original Wahlberg restaurant is Paul Wahlberg's expression of accessible Mediterranean fine dining, named for mother Alma and her nine children. Over the years it has won a number of awards, including best new restaurant from Boston Magazine, best restaurant on the South Shore from Improper Bostonian and best waterfront restaurant in New England by Yankee Magazine. Seven years after opening, Paul has made the biggest update to the restaurant yet.

Over the years, the restaurant has come to be known as an event restaurant, partly due to its amazing setting but also due to a relatively limited menu. This month, Paul -- with the help of the very talented Anne Stenfors -- has significantly expanded the menu to make Alma Nove, while still special, more of an everyday occasion for dining.
