Full fibre is the future of high-speed connectivity for homes and businesses in the UK. To help accelerate the launch of fibre in the UK, last year, Fern Trading Limited (FTL), finalised the consolidation of four vertically integrated broadband ISPs into the AllPoints Fibre Networks Ltd. (AllPoints) brand with the ambition to become “the most recommended way to connect’ across all points of the United Kingdom” by combining their established regional operations and create a single national wholesale carrier grade fibre network.
Headquartered in Reading, Berkshire, with office locations in London, Exeter and Clevedon, AllPoints builds, operates, and maintains its On-Net wholesale fibre networks using an open access architecture that any Internet Service Provider (ISP) will be able to use to provide high-speed broadband services to their end-user customers.
The open access nature of the AllPoints network delivers true equivalence in the ISP market and ensures the end-user gets the best possible service from their chosen ISP. AllPoints networks are based on fibre-to-the-premises software defined design and are neutrally operated and fibre dense. When the new network is completed, AllPoints will be able to offer both On-Net and Off-Net wholesale access to fibre services. Working in partnership with other national carriers with an ambition to reach over 25 million homes, the fibre network will allow end-users to access a future-proof and resilient connection built with cutting-edge full fibre technology.
To help them accelerate full-fibre delivery in the UK and to achieve their mission of connecting five million customers in five years, the AllPoints procurement team has awarded a new multi-year, multi-faceted outsourced partnership agreement with Wesco Anixter to help execute this exciting and complex project.

Wesco Anixter also ensures on-time delivery of critical deployment materials to provide secure collection points where field service teams can have speedy access to materials.
