Allocation Account & Employees in Standard Journal

An issue has arisen, prompting me to question why Microsoft lemmatize this functionality directly on the Standard Journal.

Problem

Upon working with the Standard Journal, it becomes apparent that when selecting the Account Category as either "Employee" or "Allocation Account", the corresponding list fails to display in the Account No. field.

Employee List is Blank
Employees List are Present

When selecting "Employees" in the Standard General Journal, it's evident that although the Employee List exists within the system, it fails to display.

Allocation List is Blank
Allocation Account List

When selecting "Allocation Accounts" in the Standard General Journal, it's evident that although the Allocation Accounts List exists within the system, it fails to display.

Solution

Navigate to the General Journal and replicate any line you wish to create from the Standard Journal within the General Journal interface. In this example we are going to create 2 Lines, one for the Employees and one for the Allocation Account.

I have created 2 Lines, 1 for Employee and 1 for Allocation

Go to the Actions > Functions > Save as Standard Journal

A new Pop-up will appear specifying 3 things over here.

Code: The Code of the Standard Journal.

Description: The Description of the Standard Journal.

Save Amount: If you want to save the Amount which you mentioned in the General Journal then enable the Boolean.

Once you specify every thing then click on "Ok" and you can see that the Standard General Journal is saved in the system.

To test that everything is working or not, we can delete the lines which we have created in the system in the first place.

Now once the lines are deleted click on the "Get Standard Journal", and a list will open.

"TEST 04" is created in the Standard General Journal.

And if you View that "TEST 04" Standard Journal, you can see that similar lines with the Exact Amounts.

Click on that and system will create the exact lines using the Standard General Journal.
