Christopher Columbus.?October 12, 1492. This began your adventure. The genesis of colonial subjugation.
Your navigation across the Atlantic made way for widespread European exploration. (Snickers) Exploration.
With the intent of exploring the lucrative spice trade, you, Columbus, explored man. Skin. Land. More profitable than spice.
Through exploration, you took away the sense of belonging from the Natives. So that you may belong. Must belong. You forced ownership of the land they lived with. So that you may live on.
I quote,
“They willingly traded us everything they owned. They do not bear arms and do not know them for I showed them a sword they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. They will make fine slaves. With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do what we want.”
(Smacks lips) Pause.
End of quote.
They must have watched you and your men nearing the shores and believed to have seen god.?Met god. That should explain how willing they were to trade everything they owned for generations.
Or else by god!
How ignorant of the Natives for their failure to recognize the arms of Zeus. With fifty more gods.?Poseidon. Apollo. Athena. Artemis. They would lick the golden sandals your wear on your paws.
Christopher Columbus. Hero of men.

A fine inspiration to more heroes who voyaged the oceans to explore. (A word you used a lot, Zeus)?Explore.
Some explored Africa. Alkebulan. Garden of Eden. Mother of mankind. The oldest inhabited territory on earth.?And still, you made it yours. Owned.?(Classic)
How deeply you love to own that which was never yours. You even claimed to own a God. The one you brought from the far seas that you came from.
The one you used (to spread the gospel) while forcing yourselves inside our women. Slicing the throats of our men. Head-butting the tender heads of our children.
The one you initially had full custody of. Until graciously deciding to spread him all across our lands.
Well. Your lands now.
I do wonder, however, did this God deny you when you held him captive and called him yours? When you forced ownership of him??Was it his choice like slavery was?
Where is it that you said you found him, I wonder? Or was it him that found you? Did you two bump into each other one day? Like you bumped into our lands while voyaging to explore spice trades? I wonder. ?
There’s own a land. Then there’s lose the land. ?There’s the Pre-Columbian era. Then there’s the post-Columbian era.
Where most of us are co-existing with Columbus while speaking the language of the ‘gods’.
