ICBAE is considered integrated because its approach encompasses all subsectors and sectors. As adults engage in learning, various fields such as health, business, agriculture, and vocational skills are interwoven into the entire learning process. Adult education is inherently multi-sectoral, addressing a broad range of areas and involving various stakeholders. DVV International East Africa
The event takes place over two days. On the first day, the ICBAE guidelines will be launched, featuring various sessions, including keynote speeches on the following topics: the relevance of ICBAE today, the research conducted during the review process for the development of the new ICBAE Programme, and the key features of the revised ICBAE Programme. The second day will focus on the dissemination of the ICBAE guidelines, providing detailed information on the upgraded learning areas, the implementation framework of the programme, and the positive impacts of community learning centers as hubs for lifelong learning and ICBAE service delivery. This event will mark the beginning of the nationwide implementation of the programme and will involve the engagement of various stakeholders, including ministries, the donor community, and civil society.

It's become increasingly challenging to recruit and retain the teaching staff essential for our sector's success.
