Our top chefs and catering staff have been busy in the kitchen preparing the most delicious new recipes and specials featured in our menu. While our cooks are in the kitchen, our wizards of writing and design have been busy putting together the following for you to enjoy.

March is a month to celebrate many holidays; as well as welcome in the spring season. This month is significant as a time to recognize women in history and most importantly to us, a time to honor women led businesses. In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, we dedicate this blog to CEO and fearless female leader, Mina Ebrahimi.

Born from immigrant parents who arrived in this country in 1978, Mina’s hard-work and determination paid off when she turned her passion for cooking into a multi-million dollar corporation that not only focused on a commitment to quality food, but delicious dishes and superior service too.

Mina’s vision and passion for cooking became the foundation for her business, and what you know today as the full-service catering company Saint Germain. Not an overnight success nor a one-hit wonder here to rise and fall. What makes Saint Germain shine so bright involves years of hard-work and a team of skilled staff led by the woman who made it all possible- Mina Ebrahimi.

As owner and entrepreneur, Mina has received numerous awards & accolades including the 2014 Enterprising Women of the Year Award, 2010 Top 40 Under 40 Award and Winner of the SmartCEO’s Brava Awards – celebrating female business leaders that share a spirit and passion for giving back to the community.

The spotlight shines not only on her accomplishments as a business owner, but for her devotion to support many non-profits & organizations including Operation Homefront DC and The 25th Project by providing food donations and other supplies throughout the year. As well as her sponsorship of McBaine, a cancer detection dog with the Penn Vet Working Dog Center, to help with their efforts in developing early ovarian cancer detection tools, for the estimated 14,000+ women that lose their battle with ovarian cancer annually.
